Balance

The balance provides a clear comparison of the actual nitrogen uptake by the crop (Nupt) with the applied nitrogen (Nbil) against the set yield target.

Nupt estimates how much nitrogen the plant has taken up to date, while Nbil indicates how much nitrogen has been applied in the form of fertilization. These two perspectives make it easy to assess whether the plant is efficiently utilizing the supplied fertilizers.

Nupt (Current Nupt) + Nupt Development – Comparison of Plant Nitrogen Uptake Relationships

Nupt shows an estimate of the amount of nitrogen the plant has taken up to a given date. Current Nupt is an estimate of the amount of nitrogen taken up by the crop.

Nbil (Current Nbil)

Represents the total sum of nitrogen applied in fertilizers to achieve the set yield target. Current Nbil represents the amount of nitrogen applied in mineral or organic form.

Target Nitrogen Value and Planned Yield (Total Nitrogen for Yield)

The total nitrogen dose required to achieve the planned yield. After entering the planned yield, the Target Nitrogen Value is calculated automatically.

Automatic Rate Calculation

After filling in the crop and planned yield, the CleverFarm application can suggest recommended fertilizer rates for individual zones for wheat and barley.
